HISTORY

* Been in this trade since 1977.  The first 2 years worked for Seaward on the 500 line in MN and Irby on a 345 line in Rifle, CO.  Both are nonunion companies.
* IBEW Local Union 160 member since July 1, 1979 where he cleared through the hall as a white ticket groundman. He learned what it meant to work under a labor agreement, there was law and order, dignity and respect.
* 1980 - 1984 attended and completed Mo. Valley Equipment Operator Training and Apprenticeship Program.
* Was appointed job steward for the first time in 1984 and upheld that responsibility on jobs worked until he came on staff in 2008.
* Was appointed to the Mo. Valley Unit Executive Committe as a committee member in 1984.
* In 1986 he accepted the position of Recording Secretary on the Mo Valley Unit Executive Committee and currently holds this position.
* In 2008 was appointed as IBEW Local Union 160's Membership Development Representative.
