HISTORY

* IBEW Local Union 160 member from 1982-1985.
* Started out as a Nuclear Plant Helper at NSP (Xcel Energy) August 1982 through March 1984.
* Became an Apprentice Plant Attendant at Monticello in April 1984 until June 1984.
* July 1984 went into the Relay Department at Chestnut Service Center as an Apprentice Shop Tester.
* Became an Instrument and Control Specialist at Sherco.  At this time this was a non-union job.
* In 1999 the I&C Department voted to have union representation where I was on the negotiating committee.
* In September 2001 the I&C Department ratified their first contract and all employees in the department became Local Union 160 members.
* Became and Sr. I&C Specialist at Sherco in February 1993 and am currently holding the same job.
* October 2002 was appointed union steward for Local Union 160.
* Successfully ran for the Executive Board in 2008 and currently hold this position.
